What do opticians do?
Opticians are trained and certified technicians who read eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, determine the appropriate measurements for your lenses and glasses, order optical lenses, and fit, adjust & repair eyeglass lenses and frames.
Opticians are also patient advocates who answer questions, make recommendations and provide information about vision insurance coverage, eye exams, eyeglass frames, and optical lens options.
